At least 20 people were killed and 150 wounded on Thursday after a crowd of people waiting for humanitarian aid at a roundabout in Gaza City was struck by Israeli fire, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
The Israeli military says it was looking into the reports.
Perfect timing ahead of ICJ’s interim ruling on Friday, hopefully the tank fire against the UN-run shelter is also considered in the case. How many “unfortunate civilian casualty incidents” have to happen until the UN takes action against Israel?
Depends on how many more it takes to kill the last Palestinian.
‘Israel definitely committed a genocide, but it’s all over now’
This unironically seems to be their goal. Flatten all of Gaza before any international response can be coherently formed. At that point they get to say “well, this is how it is now”. Fucking realpolitik man.
Nobody told them the idea of the “take a penny, leave a penny” dish isn’t supposed to be applied to genocides.
Nah they will leave a few alive so they can point and say they didn’t kill them all so it can’t be genocide
As expected, they took no action!
In most places, mass casualty incident plans involve getting resources on site in order to respond to a dangerous event, not to cause one. The manuals must’ve lost something in translation.
It’s probably hard to read 80 year old German books
They say it’s a real struggle.
