At least 20 people were killed and 150 wounded on Thursday after a crowd of people waiting for humanitarian aid at a roundabout in Gaza City was struck by Israeli fire, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
The Israeli military says it was looking into the reports.
In most places, mass casualty incident plans involve getting resources on site in order to respond to a dangerous event, not to cause one. The manuals must’ve lost something in translation.
