We can have different political views, but we have one view. The one view is we’re the finest, the greatest nation in the world. We should focus on that. And we should focus on dealing with our problems and coming together … and stop the rancor. We have to bring the nation together.
I don’t think any amount of togetherness is going to stop Palestinians from being slaughtered. And “greatest nation in the world”? Come on…
Israel/Hamas aside people who say “bring the nation together” rarely realize it’s very easy for us to be brought together if they would just agree with me.
If everyone were me, there’d be no problem!
Clearly the solution is everyone just agree on the same thing and work for that goal.
Right, I feel like that would solve a lot of problems (as long as we’re still talking about agreeing with me) lol.
Only boomers and rich conservatives believe that bullshit now.
I have yet to hear a U.S. president not call it the greatest nation in the world.
It doesn’t feel as threatening coming out the mouth of someone who isn’t massively supportive of an active genocide.
Well yea radical Islam hasn’t changed in the past 60 years why would it now
Genocide. Nationalism. Collaboration with foreign dictators. Union busting…
How are people pushing for him not flat out ashamed.
Aside from the main topic…
President Joe Biden made a call for unity while he and first lady Jill Biden spoke to NBC’s Al Roker by phone during the parade.
That’s a weird thing to do, right? Calling the president who is in another city during your parade? That seems weird.
Need that sound bite
Agreed, super weird.
Who else was a phone in guest at… the Macy’s Day Parade?..
Beyonce was trying to advertise her movie. She didn’t even perform. So the commercial was like a phoned in performance. Cher performed and she’s twice her age.
