DOJ: Judge, we are requesting a sentence of 12 years for this defendant.

Judge: How does 17 months, with time served, sound?

I didn’t see this in the story. Do you have a source? I read that they agreed to not more than 120 months (10 years).

It’s not in the story, it’s a joke about how most of these J6 defendants have been getting really light sentences.

Early cooperators do…they have a lot to work through, and getting low hanging and low value fruit to roll on the orchestrators is important

I’m not sure making up headlines is helping fight the type of misinformation that emboldens J6 and Q Anon supporters

Who’s making up headlines? Are you too stupid to understand jokes? Fuck off.

              A. I misread the headline of your post and thought it said that they did kill FBI agents, which made me believe that your comment saying “it’s a joke” was about you modifying the headline for satirical reasons, not a commentary on the US justice/legal system. Thank you for pointing out my error.

              B. Holy shit. When people walk away from you irl because you called them stupid and told them to fuck off, do you tell yourself it’s because you won the argument because your tantrum was so compelling? I got a secret for you: people walk away because they find your reactions intolerable. Calm down there, bucko, not every interaction requires such an explosive response.

Have a good evening, I hope you get a moment to relax and think about at least 5 things in your life that bring you comfort and happiness. I appreciate your contributions even though I didn’t love your reply.
