Outside of benchmarks it’s really not as big of a deal as openAI wants you to think it is. In most cases it’s slightly better than Claude, except it uses 50x the tokens repeating info to itself and is way slower. There are a lot of people that tried o1 online and are posting screenshots of it making basic mistakes or gaslighting itself in its chain of thought. Not to mention you only get 30 messages PER WEEK since it’s such a waste of energy.

It’s a desperate attempt by openAI to stay relevant now that competitors and even free models are catching up.

The switch 2 is basically confirmed, a lot of journalists claimed there was a behind-doors showcase of it to people in the industry showing Zelda running a lot smoother.

It was still relatively popular but the olympics has been in decline due to being shackled behind paid cable channels. Everybody’s moved to streaming but apparently they didn’t get the memo. Just knowing where you can find the olympics is such a nightmare they have a giant table explaining which channel you should go to depending on where you live

I’ve seen ads for it but the discourse is that the trailer looks so ass that nobody wants to bother with it. Not that anyone had expectations to begin with.

It tracks your rhythm with the phone swinging left and right to tell when you take a step or climbed some stairs. Deacons of the Deep in dark souls 3. I was running a light dex build at the time (I think using a rapier?) and it was a bit of a nightmare.

The boss is supposed to be piss easy but if you don’t have any sweeping attacks it quickly becomes unmanageable becauss you can’t kill them fast enough and they keep spamming annoying spells.

Because now teenagers can do it with very little effort whereas before it at least required a lot of time and skill

Even if one gets bored of the game itself, there’s a practically infinite number of mods and community content out there. New game modes like skyblock, mods that turn it into an RPG with magic systems, mods that make it an in-depth factory building game, mods that take you to new realms and thousands of items to discover… There’s a lot to enjoy.

It’s not really setting a precedent, hosting pirated content has always been illegal and it doesn’t help that he bragged about being a pirate.

I hate Nintendo’s practices as much as anyone else, but honestly, play stupid games and win stupid prizes. If you sell modded consoles with pirated games on them without even trying to be anonymous, of course they’re going to sue you and win.
