The Devils came on a bit toward the end of the period, but still a very good start for the Coyotes in the 1st.

Vejmelka looks sharp early, but the power play still looks pretty iffy.

Offensive zone penalty on NJ puts the yotes on the Power Play soon after taking the lead.

I’ve got a recording of the game running on the Cox broadcast, channel 95, but am watching live over-the-air on 15.2.

I was warned about the commercial where Gonzo (and others) sing. It is as bad as I thought it would be.

BTW: The over-the-air feed on 15.2 has been perfect so far. No glitches and perfect picture.

How does Cooley manage to get shots off with defensemen draped all over him? Then, as I write this, he makes a perfect feed to Zucker for a glorious chance.

I just checked the roster. There are currently 5 Coyotes on the roster that were born in the 2000s: Cooley, Hayton, Maccelli, McBain & Moser.

Sean Durzi lights the lamp from the blue line and Logan Cooley gets point #1 in the NHL early in the 2nd period! Coyotes up 2-0.
