There are ways to listen to Black (and other sub-genres of) Metal without exposing yourself to the fash:
Luke’s Black Metal Sketch book - (Google spreadsheet) a curated list of both the good and the bad.
Satan Not Hatin’ - a campaign I’m involved with that features metal/punk/neofolk/dungeon synth/EDM bands, artists, labels, media, venues, festivals, promoters, merch makers etc who reject bigotry and fascism.
Contra Odium - an online radio show that plays music only from the above campaign and the collectives below. Presented by two atheistic Satanists (one of whom is me).
The Antifascist Black Metal Network - A YouTube channel featuring the work of antifascist artists. Not just Black Metal - look into their Playlists for other sub-genres.
Antifascist Steel - YouTube channel thats a sister channel of ABMN, concentrates on non-extreme metal subgenres.
Brathory - YouTube channel similar to ABMN.
ATENEO OCULTO - YouTube channel that is an association of free people for the dissemination of dark music and culture, free from fascism, capitalism, patriarchy, and LGBTQI-phobia.
Catacombs of Heresy - YouTube channel that is a new space that aims to hosts apostates and misfists of every genre of dark music. Our basic principle is that we are against fascism, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and all other kinds of oppressions.
