It’s a scam at best. At worst you find yourself being part of a death game, thinking you can win all the money by killing all of the other players - only to get executed in the end anyway.

Getting detained and sent to a medical institution doesn’t make suicide attempts a crime.

You claim that suffering is bad, at the same time you’re insulting other people.

If you’re a masochist or sadist, then yes, suffering (either your own or the suffering of others) gives your life purpose…

I only know one country where suicide (attempt) was illegal in the past (UK). Aside from that you get sent to a medical facility in most countries.
