They must have changed it because Boost was the only app I ever used.

It does, it’s just disabled by default. Some third party clients, like Boost for Lemmy, have it enabled (or at least it did, it’s been a while since I’ve used it).
Edit: as it turns out, the Karma count was removed from Lemmy in version 0.19.
One that I’m aware of is “tskr” in Japanese. It’s a slang term that derives from たすかる (tasukaru). The meaning depends on the context and it can mean something like either “you saved me” or “thanks for helping me”.
It seems like I can’t even use it anyways, lol. I’m using Linux Mint and the software required to build it is outdated.
So I just read the article and I was right and I’ll be editing my comment to reflect that.
Also, I did just re look at the tweets, they weren’t calling for the mass genocide of gay people, they were calling for the mass genocide of jewish people. The problem was that the tweet was linked with another tweet where they used the F-slur, so I forgot they said “jews” and not the F-slur. I’m going to have fix that too.
Just out of curiosity, have you even seen any of the tweets that I’m referring too?
While I have no problem with what Sweet Baby Inc does, I hate that all of the articles defending them (like this one) refuse to acknowledge a lot of the reasons why they are getting backlash. Like all of the tweets from SBI employees that either use racist/anti-LGBT slurs or advocate for the mass genocide of Jewish people or the fact that this whole thing started because SBI started a harassment campaign towards the creator of a steam group despite not having any information that actually proved that the group was in the wrong and also ignoring the fact that the group was created by someone from Brazil and claiming that the group was created by right-winged conspiracy theorists.
I don’t know if you are looking for anything specific but here is a list of some of the games that I would recommend trying:
The Harry Potter games, the PS2 version of these games seem to be heavily inspired by the N64 era Zelda games as they have a lot of similarities. Chamber of Secrets is, at least in my opinion, the best of the three but the other two games are still worth checking out. Also, something interesting to note is that, unlike how games for these systems normally are, the PS2 versions of these games are technically better than both the GameCube and Xbox versions due to porting issues and some other poor design choices.
The Sly cooper games, these games, especially 2 and 3, are speculated to be direct inspiration for the Assassin’s Creed games. Some say that Sly 2 is the best, while others say that 3 was the best, but I don’t know which one I prefer.
Monster house, I know that this is a bit of a weird one to mention, but it was a really good game. The game is similar to Resident Evil 4 in both gameplay and atmosphere. It’s one of the rare examples of a movie licensed game that was actually good.
Pac-Man World 2 and 3, both which are action platformers. I personally prefer 3 but 2 had a better soundtrack (I don’t know why they put that much effort in the OST of a Pac-Man game).
While I have no interest in using a service like this, I understand why they are doing this. I would imagine that a service like this probably costs a lot to run and it looks like they are adding them in a sensible way. It’s not like how a lot of mobile games are where the game just randomly stops in the middle of game-play to show you an ad.
It depends on the game. If the gender has an effect on the stats or gameplay, I may choose a female character if I think it would either benefit my character build or make the gameplay more interesting. If it’s just cosmetic, I will play as a female if I think the male characters look ugly and the game doesn’t have a femboy option.
Ring The Bells - Eurobeat Union
For some reason the only real version I could find on YouTube is the first song in Zenki’s Christmas Touhou Eurobeat Mix and it’s kind of ironic because it’s the only song in that mix that is actually Christmas related.
I agree with that and some of the artists I listen to actually do use platforms where you can purchase their music directly but unfortunately buying the music directly just really isn’t viable for me. Platforms that use ads for monetization are really the only way that’s viable but the artists I listen to only use Spotify, or if they do use other platforms, they just use them for demos and other promotional stuff.
You know what, this makes me feel a lot better about using an ad-blocker when using their site. Although, I would prefer if the artists I listen to didn’t exclusively use Spotify for some reason.
I haven’t checked it out in a while but the problem I had with the subscriptions feed was that a lot of videos don’t show up there. Sometimes it would take weeks for a new upload to actually show up in the feed, while some channels just never appeared there. IIRC, YouTube stated that this was at least partially intentional.
I checked some channels and I didn’t see any videos that were missing but I don’t really have the patients to check every channel I’m subbed to. Although, I’m subbed to over 150 channels on YouTube but the feed didn’t seem to have a lot of videos posted in the past week.
Regardless of whether they fixed it or not, assuming YouTube still offers them, the RSS feeds were always reliable for me.
There’s also PixelCanvas, which has a much bigger area than r/place.
Just looked into it, according to this post account scores were removed from Lemmy. I’ll have to edit my comment.
