They’re a minority because it’s an extremely dangerous and low success-rate way to enter. You’re comparing global affluent population shuffling to actual poverty migration. The vast majority of the globe doesn’t have the skills desired for a work visa, much less the ability to pay the costs of relocation. If people desperately needed to migrate quickly, that’s the only way they can.

Poland is a weird example to pick, they’re very publicly in the news right now for blocking a refugee initiative. They may have lax requirements for legal entry at this moment, but all signs point to a shift.

All migration is population pressure, I can assure you these governments don’t care if you’re from the USA fleeing fascism or a South-Asian country fleeing wet bulb events.

Yes, a lot of different states get involved in an international conflicts. Its not pretty or squeaky clean, that’s how war works. If you didn’t want that then you should have opposed the decades of aggression from Putin’s Russia, it’s a bit late to get your hackles up now.

Point is it’s not something a “normal person” can do. It’s an obscenely privileged thing to even suggest. Most countries require proof of enough wealth to support yourself and your family before you can even start the process. And it’s only going to get more strict as countries start locking their doors to climate refugees.

More realistically your exit involves an overflowing boat straight to a migrant camp, then “remigrated” back as the world plunges into a recession and the locals don’t want you. And that’s if you’re lucky.

One of these two actors is actively and aggressively siezing strategic territory needed for a sound position in a changing climate. I’ll give you a hint: neither of them give a shit about living in Russia.

I hope to see this same victim blaming enthusiasm when America invades Canada and Greenland for the same reasons.

Even looking strictly at the voting population, Trump got less than 50% of the votes; more people voted “not Trump” than voted for him. That’s before you account for the majority of 90 million non-voters holding left leaning views (studies say irregular voters are as low as 40% republican voters) with either no acceptable candidate to support or living under voter suppression.

Did you know it’s possible to with the presidency with as low as 23% of the popular vote? Guess which color states have a massively oversized impact on the electoral college…

The people getting shot are not Trump voters at this point. More specifically, people that are opposed to absolutely destroying other countries are the first ones targeted.

Even if we all suffered perfectly evenly, only 22% of Americans voted for Trump. Please keep the other 78% in mind.
