I have to ask, after seeing all your photos from the general Glacier/Watertown Lakes area and Eastern MT, I thought maybe you lived there, but now Minnesota! Is this part of work? I’m a trails person, but not as mobile as you. Envious ❤️ thanks for sharing all these photos of places and critters.

Ya, usually liquids are compressed with air for any useful stored use. Otherwise something must continually pump. Maybe they are putting a large bladder into the ground?

The article doesn’t discuss how they pressurize water. Conventional pumped storage uses gravity,the water isn’t actually pressurized itself. Plus the whole liquid thing. But otherwise, neat!

There’s a great book, Bad Land, that talks about the eastern MT struggle for white “settlers.”

I had not heard of this either, but what is it about Ice Cube? I haven’t seen him in a movie in a long time, Friday era, I don’t remember him being bad in that (or earlier films), no good now?
