“The international community warns us of a humanitarian disaster in Gaza and of severe epidemics. We must not shy away from this, as difficult as that may be,” he added.
This is a nazi discussing lebesraum.
driving them out of their homes and into shrinking, increasingly crowded prison cities with horrendous living conditions is ethnic cleansing. But they also have killed many thousands of Palestinians, not counting the 11,000 since Oct 7.
well yeah, fuck the CEO and upper management. This was my response to /u/SCB telling you there’s no wealth to redistribute. I tagged you so you would also see it.
If your only justification here is
The first thing I mentioned was ethnic cleansing, which tends to radicalize people after a few decades of it.
But also, Israel has Palestine inside a literal fucking fence. They control the fucking water supply. Yes, they are responsible for Palestine
Why do you expect the Israeli government to prioritise the lives of Palestinian over their own citizens when trying to smack out a terrorist threat?
Because they were instrumental in creating that terrorist threat in the first place, not only by perpetrating ethnic cleansing but by directly funding Hamas in the 70s and 80s as a counterbalance against the secular PLO.
Instead of the CEO and other upper management, try stock buybacks and dividends, which enrich the actual owners. GM spent $21 billion on stock buybacks in the past 12 years, and around $18 billion in stock dividends. That averages to over $3 billion a year, which is over twice the worker raise from the strike — and a lot of that raise is going toward correcting the 19.3% pay cut they took after 2008.
transphobia and an adult abusing his position of power to hurt a kid, two berserk buttons in one headline
It really doesn’t. A lot of the time they’re flippant not because they have no interest in discussion but because so many libs dismiss and sneer at their vilified and misunderstood political positions — I’ve seen people literally assume they’re Trump supporters or Putin supporters and go around saying so to anyone who asks — and it makes discussion frustrating or outright impossible. Conveying a lot of background information to someone who is hostile and not listening is difficult. So they’re flippant, and it becomes a vicious cycle.
practically the complete IDF was in the West Bank at that time
anyone have sources or more info on this? to what extent is this true?
if the US government cared about protecting Palestinians I don’t think we would be in this situation
These people have no interest in good faith arguments
This is such an obnoxious sweeping statement.
What are you saying?
kills them by the hundreds
the death toll is a bit higher than that
5,590 Palestinians and 251 Israelis died in conflict from 2008–2020
The absurd thing is that Israel helped create and fund Hamas initially as a counterweight to the largely secular leftist Palestine Liberation Organization under Yasser Arafat. This whole situation is partially blowback from an Israeli effort to divide-and-conquer Palestine.

In 1981, Brig. Gen. Yitzhak Segev, Israel’s military governor of Gaza, told me that he was giving money to the Muslim Brotherhood, the precursor of Hamas, on the instruction of the Israeli authorities. The funding was intended to tilt power away from both Communist and Palestinian nationalist movements in Gaza, which Israel considered more threatening than the fundamentalists.

“Hamas, to my great regret, is Israel’s creation,” says [retired Israeli official Avner Cohen], a Tunisian-born Jew who worked in Gaza for more than two decades. Responsible for religious affairs in the region until 1994, Mr. Cohen watched the Islamist movement take shape, muscle aside secular Palestinian rivals and then morph into what is today Hamas, a militant group that is sworn to Israel’s destruction.
Instead of trying to curb Gaza’s Islamists from the outset, says Mr. Cohen, Israel for years tolerated and, in some cases, encouraged them as a counterweight to the secular nationalists of the Palestine Liberation Organization and its dominant faction, Yasser Arafat’s Fatah. Israel cooperated with a crippled, half-blind cleric named Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, even as he was laying the foundations for what would become Hamas.
The secular PLO has now largely been supplanted by Hamas in Gaza.
is the joke that you want them all to suffocate to death?
And don’t make the mistake of turning this into a class war about “oppressed people”. Muhammed filled palaces with treasure he stole from the people he murdered.
so, there’s no oppression in Palestine now because Muhammad was rich in the year 632?
it seems racist to view all Palestinians as a hive mind
CPR absolutely does save lives. The success rate outside hospitals is around 10%. That’s thousands of lives saved every year.
I think the average person can tell what’s going on if they see someone prone on the ground and someone doing chest compressions.
libs: this man will be the next hitler
also libs: I stand with trump after this appalling act
