But wouldn’t that let water and dirt inside the case, just like the camera cutouts? I already hate those

Ok, so how does this work with phone cases?
I’m not fucking with these letter but it’s: Face, head/hair, torso front, torso back, armpits, head again (long hair), arms if still wet, legs if still wet, feet if still wet.
Anybody not starting with the face is a borderline psychopath imo
Well, it sounds like you’re going after women out if your league because you think they’re attractive and that’s a valid choice. But it is a choice you’re making. It sounds like you could have intimacy if you lowered your standards or increased you attractiveness (gym etc). Or you could abandon dating to not have to face rejections.
So I think the key to avoid bitterness is to reevaluate if the choice you are making still works for you if it brings up bitterness. Then you can either stay with your choice or switch, if you don’t think any other option brings less negative feelings.
And if you choose the best option for you, there’s no need for bitterness.
Government usually don’t decide what tops the charts tho. That’s sales numbers

Sorgerechtsverhandlung für Elsass Lothringen 2024?
I agree, if I subscribe to a community that has 2 posts a week, I wanna see those posts, eben if they have no comments. I wonder if a lemmy equivalent to a multireddit could also help? In a multireddit you could group communities into one separate feed (like just create a multireddit “cats” and add all cat related subreddits to this multireddit, and then you could see all cat related content within one feed.
Its not as good a solution as to have the algorithm push it, but maybe there’s a lemmy functionality I’m unaware of that could already emulate this process.
That sounds like an awesome concept, but since it ends on a cliffhanger and didn’t get a season 2, I won’t consider it.
I think you might have a misunderstanding about how tax brackets work (at least if you’re taking about american federal income taxes). Progressive tax rates mean that only the income that is over the threshold for the new tax bracket gets taxes with the higher %. So if you are $1 over the limlt for a new tax bracket, only that dollar gets taxed with the higher percentage. You can read about this anywhere, this is just the first source I found.
So, I don’t see how this example still applies here. But after some reading, apparently the prosecution got some new information after the plea deal, so the asked for 9 years, and the judge compromised on 8.5. That’s at least what this article implies.
Pazienza’s plea agreement called for an eight-year sentence but prosecutors asked for nine years based on new information contained in a presentence report, a spokesperson for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said.
I don’t really know what 6 months more or less is gonna do in this case, but ok I guess?
We had to kill him, he gave the prime minister cooties
Especially if that “church” is the Cult of Scientology, which are famous for ruining people’s lives if they’re considered a “supressive person”
Yeah, but would you (I assume american) even know enough words to so clearly repeat the opening words? Idk. It’s just not something you’d come across often even in Germany outside of history class, german class, or neonazi circles. I assume even less so for non Germany. So that this would be so top of mind for someone to just slip out is just such a strange and unlikely thought to me.
Idk. The phrase is bad, but it wouldn’t come up in my top 10 of nazi phrases, so for it to just slip out, I have to to assume that person frequently uses nazi phrases.
Likely we’ll never know
Idk, maybe. I listened to the audio, and to me, it did sound like someone who speaks German well. The pronounciations and emphasis sounded very natural. And fans do travel for events like these. Of course it could be an American, but somehow I still doubt it. Is this phrase known in the US?
Idk. I don’t think this particular phrase would even enter my mind as something to chant, and I am German. That’s not the first time he chanted that, I’m sure. It is taboo for sure, but it’s not in the cultural consciousness a lot, there’s more “popular” nazi slogans. You’d either have to search your brain for something specifically Hitler related or be very familiar with the old anthem (aka singing it a lot aka being a neonazi).
I do not agree that this is the “most” Hitler thing though. There are so much more famous things, hut they wouldn’t fit the situation though.
I think it really depends on the place you’re working. My company honestly encourages us to take all of our leave in one chunk, because it’s easier to plan with. At least you should take one week at a time. I personally don’t like it though. I like looking forward to having a few days off every month. Having a whole month off and then working troughout the year is not for me.
For me, dirt and especially water getting into the case through the camera holes is definitely an issue, and my case also is tight.
