I like VFX … what I don’t like is the monotonous repetitive stories from comic book movies

Of all the supposed civilization and modernization that we claim to uphold as a species … the fact that this is still part of our world means that we are no more civilized then we were a thousand years ago, we just have computers, fast cars and nuclear weapons.
It’s not so much that it’s AI generated … it’s also AI influenced.
I know so many professional office workers who once wrote some of the most boring sometimes stupid emails because they didn’t know how to write or get their message across or constantly miscommunicated things because they worded things wrong … now all of a sudden they’ve become professional writers and all their emails look like auto generated messages.
I’m guessing that many writers also take the AI shortcut. They get a bunch of content generated from an AI than just rewrite it for themselves. Some content i see is lazily edited and some is heavily. But I get the feeling that just about everyone is using it because it’s an easy way to get a bunch of work done without having to think too much.
I could agree … but the gullible masses have no idea they are being manipulated … while the trained and educated media managers and owners (and to a lesser extent the actual journalists) know exactly what they are doing and why
I can blame the listeners for being stupid … but I still blame the messenger for intentionally misleading the public.
You can blame the gullible listener to only wanting to hear what they want to hear …
… or …
You can blame the well trained, educated and directed media for promoting, highlighting and normalizing the idea of spreading semitruth and fabrication in order to push an overall agenda.
I’m no conspiracy theorist, I don’t subscribe to dumb delusions of aliens or illluminati cults running the world … but I do believe that there is a culture of highly trained individuals working in media these days who just knowingly spread extreme views and pass them off as legitimate enough to be debated. A politician like Turnip shouldn’t be normal … but a national media has made it completely normal to have someone as unwell, politically unstable and sociopathic as Turnip to be acceptable enough to talk about endlessly as if there is nothing wrong with him.
In this case … I blame the messenger
Maybe they did film in front of a dead audience and then just played prerecorded laugh tracks … how are we to know?
Vandalize? … the entire machine would be stolen. Either by thieves wanting to steal the merchandise or money or both. Or a bunch of teens that would tie a chain to it and drag it to the end of town for fun.

All the vague uneducated and ill informed ideas we all have about anything and everything will all be magnified and exaggerated a hundred fold.
People want to only believe what they want because they hate being wrong … and they never believe or want to believe that their side, their group, their community no matter what it is can ever be wrong.
I’m not immune to it myself and I constantly have to remind myself that I can easily fall into that same mentality.
Most of us are never taught to be self-critical or to properly question the world or the people around us.
This is thing I keep pointing out about AI

Wealth, power and control gets concentrated to smaller and smaller groups of people … they get desperate for more power and co opt and manipulate the existing system to get their way … they don’t get their way and do even more extreme changes and create chaos

Current Liberal government is going to hold out all support for a genocidal country doing genocidal things for no apparent obvious reason and any moderate voter out there will avoid them for them it.
It doesn’t matter what your politics are … if your political party openly and wholeheartedly wants to support something that does no benefit to your country, ruins the lives of others and supports a maniacal regime, and does it at the cost of millions and billions of dollars -> why would you want to vote for them?
I don’t get it … sure Israel is pretty important but why would political leaders obviously tank their entire prospects just to save the support of a country that has very little to do with their own other than to cost everyone money.
