I know, I have that genetic flaw too, I just don’t let it slow my cheese consumption. I do like the hard cheeses for that reason though.

My daughter would too, but she’s lactose intolerant. She still eats cheese, but not as much as she would if she wasn’t.

I want healthcare too but it doesn’t have nearly as much support in the Dem representatives as it does from the voters. I have zero expectations. Mostly because of the legal bribery.

I’m 50 and I’ve worked 6-day weeks probably 90% of my working life which started at 14. Even before that, it’s not like you actually got the whole weekend off. I was an honors student, there was always tons of homework.

Always turn it off and on again. Then check cable and physical connections, then start the real troubleshooting. I have fixed over a thousand computers as a hobby. So I’m no pro, but I know that much.

I downvoted because it doesn’t give a good description of right-to-work and/or at-will employment, or include differences or the way the law applies in different areas. It’s too broad of a post without enough specific relevant application to local law scenarios. It’s opening a can of worms and could be misunderstood.

I saw an article posted on Facebook yesterday about the five guys burgers and fries price complaints, and it quoted word for word comments I saw on a thread here on Lemmy the day before that.

The only people I know who do it are 60s and up and they also do it when it’s inappropriate. I would have capitalized all of these words for effect, but fuck that.
