  • Right authoritarianism is fascism, that’s the definition. But left authoritarianism is a very, very real thing. And many people who claim to be libertarian leftists still want authorities to enforce their ideals. Back when I used to shitpost on Reddit political compass memes a couple years ago we used to call them watermelons - green on the outside but red on the inside. There are anarchist leftists for sure, I’m not saying it’s everybody. Those people are mostly pretty cool to me but authoritarian neolibs can eat a bag of dicks.

  • People acted stupid and violently. But I think the “insurrection” language isn’t helpful when people on the right are fed stats about it that make that seem like propaganda, especially considering the violent riots in Seattle and other places not that long before. Like only three civilians were found with guns. And there is video of people being peaceably let into buildings.

I’m not saying people shouldn’t be prosecuted. They fucked around and found out. Good. But a real right wing insurrection would have more than three guns. I’m expecting this will be removed though, have to control the dialog and making it an insurrection is crucial to the reelection plan! Fuck Republicans but fuck Biden too.

  • Dude I take people on wilderness adventures all over the US, but that’s only a side gig. I’ve definitely never seen an EV on rough mountain 4x4 trails though. I’m sure they’ve gone many of those places but out there they bring generators to recharge. How many superchargers per square mile are there in Wyoming, Montana, South/North Dakota? Hell even Kansas which isn’t so remote? Even on major highways where charging is easier to find, I sometimes drive 1200 miles/day. It just isn’t ready yet.
