The more people who do this, the more Musk money we’ll get to un-fuck America.

I think for a lot of people, the economy was better during Trump’s presidency than Biden’s.

These people are ignorant to the fact that Trump inherited Obama’s economy and could literally coast for 4 years and the economy would not change.

He left Biden with a shit show post Covid which also included a massive tax cut for corporations and the wealthy which in no way would pay for itself.

Cut taxes massively on the wealthy. Do we think the wealth inequality that has been a staple is most of our lives has anything to do with that?

It’s worth noting that Harris is still pretty new when it comes to being the presidential nominee. Nobody even considered it until the Biden debate.

So partly the media is making up time when it comes to analyzing her and asking and expecting answers.

Unfortunately, you’re dependent on the state/judicial system that convicted you to decide that they made a mistake, which is not always possible when they don’t want to admit to it.

I can understand these complaints. In general, though, I felt like the movie was just being a different thing while trying to stay faithful to the spirit of the book, and I loved the movie for that. It didn’t feel like the creators just wanted to cash in on a name, but genuinely liked the material and were trying to bring that to life.

It wasn’t a great movie, but as a fan of the books, I appreciate that it exists. I knew it wouldn’t happen, but I wanted the sequel.

Also, I didn’t get the feeling they misunderstand the “end” joke, I thought it was just a cute way to end the movie while name checking the potential sequel.

Is the song from the miniseries? I’ve never seen it.

I’ve honestly never met a fan of the books that didn’t also like the movie. I think it did a great job of appealing to fans of the book and a not so good job appealing to non fans.

George Floyd too. 2020 definitely felt like the boiling point for a lot of things that centered around Trump in a 100% divisive way.

I did a protest vote in 2016 (my state has zero impact), but from now on I want to make sure the numbers show accurately who got the most votes.
