Okay, Grandpa Joey. Let’s get you back to bed.
I’d probably jump off a bridge for Jon Stewart but I’ve been having a hard time with the show since he returned.
He’s always gestured and paused a lot but he’s been overrelying on it lately and you can feel the audience hesitate before catching the joke. A few of his interviews, he’s barely let the guest get a word in. They also do him dirty with his way too tan makeup that ends far enough below his hairline that you can clearly see the difference.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s still witty and vocal about things that matter but it’s not the old Jon.
I dunno, I’m just getting old.
Remember that Alli pill a few years back that blocked fat absorption and gave everyone diarrhea?
I recently started playing Diablo 4. I’ve never bought DLC or cosmetics but I recall the horse armor uproar. My shock when some of these cosmetics are $20 for mount or town portal…what?!
Between this and Israel, the American military industrial complex is well fed and well employed. “More war” they say
Your DMCA notice is in the mail, buddy!
While we’re at it, let’s spend on teacher salaries and classroom materials. Y’know, so that kids can learn from talented and impassioned individuals.
not a lawyer but qualified immunity basically shields government officials from being sued for their misconduct. They can still be prosecuted but there’s no remedy for the harm they’ve caused.
There’s an interesting nuance Trump’s defense seems to be arguing: that a president can’t be prosecuted for “official actions,” only personal ones by extension of the separation of powers. Otherwise, any president could be prosecuted for some crime (e.g. “Biden’s mismanagement of the border”).
I think it’s a load of crap, although an interesting reach. The judge’s line of questioning seems to agree but they’re also concerned about opening the floodgates. Their best bet is to delay, delay, delay and that’s what they’re doing.
Ha. I just came here to post this too. It’s an interesting angle they’re taking by attacking the way Apple’s ecosystem works better together, naturally locking consumers in. I’m an Apple sucker myself but frankly the Apple-exclusive features (Siri, Handoff, iMessage, Airplay) are, at best, gimmicks that would be much better if they had broader compatibility.
Agreed. I just got over a 2 week chest cold that was dreadful. Then again, my toddler sneezed right in my face so 🤷♂️.
Rest up and feel better soon.
I’m younger than you folks but the trench coat kids scared the shit out of me after Columbine - mostly because of the media fearmongering. Remember “rock is the devil’s music” days?
Then I went to HS and became a JNCO jeans and trench coat kid, and the crew was the most down-to-earth and accepting folks I knew. Scariest thing about me back then was how long I could play PC games for every day.
Betcha Ford F150 had the highest rate of needless tailgating and absurd lifting.
He said the quiet part out loud. Except it’s no longer quiet. It’s loud and very clear to his base.
🤨 when did Reddit overtake Twitter? Reddit used to be a niche destination that you’d barely see it in comparison to the other big name sites.
In my mind, he’s more a product of social media than any spy agency.
But can he find Jimmy Hoffa’s body?
Have to bump it up a notch. The ongoing war headlines were getting kind of stale.
