Hi, it me.
Man, 5 years. I know nothing about building a browser, but that seems… Long.
Just to add, Digikam for organizing, DarkTable for processing, GIMP for anything DarkTable doesn’t do.
The biggest downsides, for me, with the FOSS route compared to Linux, is that the UIs can be a bit clunky, unclear, or just slower. Since this is a hobby for me, I’m trying to look past those in favor of saving some $$, but it’s not easy after over a decade of Adobe.
Really cool photo! Grand Haven? I need to get there when some big ships come through. Never seem to get the timing right and all I see are all the small ones with Trump flags on them 😅
Loving these foggy shots!
Grew up Reformed Christian and you hit the nail on the head… Or hand, or whatever.
Love it! We’ve been getting a lot of foggy nights around here, and this could be really fun to play with. Thanks for sharing!
Rockford? Wish I got out more with the recent foggy days. Loving this shot!

I have a free account and can’t turn off the mobile signature, which has two blank lines before it. I wonder if turning that setting off just deletes that string, but not the lines.
Hello from GR! Nice comp.
Looks like Cyberpunk meets Arkham Asylum, which is fine by me
I actually did use Capture One Express for a time and was quite happy, but I recently switched back to my old Olympus MFT and sold my Fuji gear for financial reasons (which unfortunately makes the price for Capture One tricky right now). I may just have to try to make do with Rawtherapee for now.
I’ve tried switching from Lightroom to Darktable and/or Rawtherapee, but found neither to produce the results I wanted. Any other alternatives I should try?
I really like CWV in theory, but in practice I’m just spending 100hrs trying to make our clients’ monstrosities load like a static blog site. I would love it if we made the web lighter and faster, but that’s not what paying customers want.
Some instances/servers are currently not capable of uploads larger than ~100kb, so a good image CDN is desired.
What?! They have very unique squiggles and bright colors! No one else is doing that.
I really don’t get the logic of redesigns like this or The Verge. Was the design team just told, “traffic is down make it look new so we can post a blog about it”?
