Not sure if it’s just me but I get the vibes they are trying to piggy back off the success of other cozy life sims. Looks like a lazy effort, but it’s just a trailer. I will wait and see reviews before putting any money into it.

Story time. Back at uni I had a c++ subject. Me being lazy as fuck I didn’t attend many classes and let alone do the practicals during the semester. Exam time comes around. I realise I can’t cram in a whole semester’s learning in a week. Luckily it’s open book exam. Big brain time, I print the whole c++ documentation to take into the exam. I frantically page through the hundreds of pages in my lever arch file looking for answers. I pretty much copy and write example code to questions. Very sad when I failed.

Will keep an eye out on this one. Looks fucking cool

In theory the idea is great. Unfortunately in reality people in those positions are fucking greedy and will throw citizens under the bus to get a few extra bucks. In South Africa we see the ruling party ANC politicians who earn decent money but they still can’t keep their fucking greasy hands out of the cookie jar. It’s pretty fucking disgusting since their is still so much poverty in the country but they will rather steal to enrich themselves.

Meh, played scarlet on switch. It was enjoyable, not one of my top games but I can see the appeal to the fans. I just played through the main story line and then called it. Although hundreds of hours can be spent if someone wants to do everything. All in all, I don’t think it’s a terrible game.

Also I take the switch for what it is, a seven year old handheld. It’s not going to compete with a PC, Xbox or PS. As I’ve grown older I don’t care much for graphics but rather game play. And damn straight do I want sit on my couch in front of the TV with some sport in the background. I get it, it’s not for everyone but it’s what I like at this point in my life.

I also enjoyed playing it.

The ANC government are a bunch of corrupt tools who choose things when it fits them. They don’t like the west but like the western lifestyles with looted money.

It seems strange that they side with Russia invading Ukraine but choose to show support for Palestine in a “similar” situation. I am also not sold that the ANC don’t have deeper ties with terrorist organisations such as Hamas.

Meen while they spend all this effort on other countries issues when South Africa has one of the highest murder rates in the world. I think last year was like 29 000. Would love it if they could spend this amount of effort to sort out their own house.

The Deponia collection was a steal. Seems very Monkey Island-y. I liked the monkey island series so hopefully I’ll like this. I’ll be playing Deponia.

I tried little big factory before but I called it quits after realising it’s not for me. Also bought Move Out on sale but just seems too repetitive, maybe it’s more of a multiplayer game than single player…
