You had an opportunity to actually make the text bold, and you missed it.

It’ll feel like playing undocked, I would imagine.
Nope, but I hope they leave you alone so you can go back to enjoying Lemmy. Cheers, mate!
I’d rather listen to an orgy of deaf zoo animals.
That’s what you said when I asked you if you’d enjoy going to listen to The Beatles live in their heyday. I’m beginning to think that’s just what you’re into.
And it prevents “spur of the moment” decisions, like many successful suicides are.
It may prevent some, but at least some of the ones experiencing acute issues will still go for the immediate option. The bureaucracy of it will add a layer that I suspect will deter some. If it takes months or years, people are just going to find their own way.
I’m not suggesting that we just help any person right off the street. I think the government has duty of care once they are involved. I’m just saying the reality is that many will still choose not to take this alternative path.
Angrier and probably better organized, too.
I learned a huge number of words from dictionaries and vocabulary books in school. Some I learned from context in other books. All three are being banned. Discussions of certain words are also banned.
Further, it is not malicious compliance. It is CYA. When you do something they don’t like that’s not against the rules, they’ll pull this shit out as an excuse to can them. Then, they’ll ban the thing they didn’t like in the first place.
Last, the people around me would largely say I’m pretty smart (not a genius, but I know a fair amount and I’m fairly clever), some of that was just genetic and some of that was my home life, but a lot of that organization of learning and processes came from my formal education, which was all public schools and universities. I would not be anywhere near as successful now without it. Kids in Florida today are taking a hit. They won’t be as competitive as people from states where this isn’t happening.
Isn’t it being free ending now for some insurances? I don’t know if it has already happened or it’s happening soon, but unless something has changed again, it’s happening.
Except LEGO.
I was also surprised by the low number, and thought it might be a “first installment” with a sunk-loss mindset. I would expect a number with a B behind it. The future of the world’s economy, assuming it doesn’t all crash due to climate change, may be dependent on this investment.
And no super rich people.
Is Delaware worse for some reason?
Find some on the side of the road near a construction site, then.
Agreed. Sweeter apple with something like havarti. Sweet and creamy.
I’m sure it did help some. She is not as careful as she should be, probably, but at least she stays current on her vaccines (and masks up on planes).
My boss got the new booster and still got COVID over Thanksgiving. She likes to work while she’s sick (usually from home) and it still knocked her on her butt to the point where she actually only worked a few minutes each day.
It was the founder’s name, his brother was associated with lynching, but not him, iirc.
Won’t Mexico face some of those same problems?
I support you and your jokes. Party on, dude!
