I mean it’s meant to be illegal in Austria, but I still saw a fuckload of Nazis when I went to a football game there.

Israel is a state, not a country.
Palestine is a country, not a state.
It’s tragic, but that’s what happens when your state primarily defends itself with human shields.
the people willing to listen the hardest.
I don’t know if you can see usernames on your instance but theirs ends in “@lemmy”, not “@hexbear” or “@lemmygrad”.
I understand how it can be frustrating for you idiots to be constantly corrected by us, but maybe if you tried learning before assuming you wouldn’t find yourselves geting dogpiled for your ignorant kneejerk support of an islamophobic white supremacist ultranationalist.
Don’t be ridiculous, they’ve shot a bunch of men - escaped hostages, their own troops, and, like, probably at least 1 Hamas through sheer probability.
That would be a government enforced media silence - media silence just means people not talking to the media or the media not reporting on a subject, it doesn’t require a direct order from the government to the media to not report on something. Media might create a voluntary silence, where they agree not to report on a subject, or might have a silence pushed on them, like football’s “silenzio stampa”, where teams will refuse to talk to or interact with the press when they’re unhappy with reporting.
What do you think the difference between “media silence” and “ministers not making statements to the media” is?
Dutch didn’t, not alone, far from that.
As opposed to the chinese, who are completely alone, all 1.whatever billion of them.
which are[…]largely self-reliant in the matter
You just fucking said it required cooperation you dumb cum juggler, now you’re saying they failed despite not cooperating?
I didn’t write that they “wouldn’t be able to”
I cannot sufficiently describe how much I hate your stupid reddit tier “um, akshumally I didn’t use those exact words therefore you’re completely misrepresenting what I said!” You won’t shut up about how hard and difficult and borderline impossible it is and you want me to believe you’re not trying to say they won’t be able to? You’re certainly not arguing that they will.
if China wants to meet the ever growing domestic demand (either military or civil), China need fabs churning chips reliably.
That’s not what commercially viable mean, buddy.
just that it will take a very long time, because the complexity is spread across several very distinct scientific disciplines, integrating them is a challenge of its own (again, watch the videos),
Dutch managed it, why wouldn’t the chinese, with a centrally planned economy that can directly integrate the different disciplines, be able to?
packaging this into a system that meets the scale and reliability requirements to make it commercially viable hasn’t been reproduced to date.
Communists in shambles - how could anyone fund science for the sake of progress instead of making money?
Did anyone else parse the headline as an organisation called “Landlords for Israel’s Arms Trade” being shut down, or just me?
I know you feel smart for taking a holier than thou attitude, but you’re just revealing you’re too dumb to come up with an actual response.
No, you dumbfuck, there is no argument attached to those insults. There is nothing in their comment saying that you are wrong because of your ignorance, which is what an ad hominem argument is - we are pointing out why you are wrong, and then calling you a lentil brained moron.
This is stuff they made me learn at school over 20 years ago as a 13 year old. You should be embarrased that you can’t even get the most basic fallacy right.
Ad hominem arguments are ones that dismiss your arguments based on insults or attacks on you personally, not just being insulting while making an argument against you.
The fact that you don’t know that (or can’t tell the difference between them) just demonstrates your ignorance, so in this particular instance they weren’t even being insulting, they were simply stating a fact.
How is the UK not the occupying force there? The Falkland Islands are nowhere fucking near us.
It’s possible to get really anal about the things that they’ve cut out to keep things moving, but honestly I was blown away by how well they’ve transitioned the feel to live action. Everything about it is slightly hammed up in a way that really helps sell the fantasy, and the cgi really works.
Zephyreks is being sarcastic by highlighting the US’s doublespeak that they employ to wage war without declaring war.
It’s ridiculous that the author thinks they can tell other games to follow D&D when they’ve only looked at D&D. Not only does this update lag well behind most TTRPGs, it doesn’t actually bring it up to date - species has its own issue of being inaccurate in a game rampant with half-lineages, which is why other games moved to terms like lineage and ancestry instead. These are discussions people have had because of the problems of D&D, it hasn’t been a trailblazer since the release of 3.0.
