The thing with American politics is that Americans love, LOVE TV shows and movies. Everything they do publicly has to be framed, presented, and consumed, as if it were a TV show or movie. So that’s what the political machine does. Kamala Harris raised like a $1000000000. A BILLION dollars! What does the political machine do with that much money? It puts on a damn good show and broadcasts it to the world hoping it’s a better show than what Trump is making. So yes you are watching the same show we are. It’s entertaining, horrifying, hilarious, disgusting, sad and hopeful. But if you want to see what the real work is like in politics then you will have to read the book. A LOT of books, and many Americans don’t like to read.

Go to where you first learned how to make friends. Go back to school, take a night class. Found a wife there once.

Community college. Took a few classes I never would have normally chosen like art or acting. I was a stay at home introvert who was way past college days, so I couldn’t figure out how to put myself into social situations. But I do like to learn, so signed myself up for some night classes. Ended up dating a few people, made new friends, and married one of them. Night classes bring in the adults who have to work during the day, a few kids too, but I met just about every age group from young to very old. Study groups, group projects, anything that will involve working with or helping classmates, or anything that you think is interesting really. Have life long friends now because of that decision.

Go back to where you first learned how to make friends, go back to school.

Poor leadership. A good leader can set the tone for better or worse. Unfortunately leadership is very rarely taught, so bosses tend fall back on their upbringing. A leader is at the front working harder than everyone else and suffering with their team, a boss is at the back telling everyone to work harder while suffering nothing. A boss who is also a leader is far to rare.

I had never heard of her. I do not watch influencer videos. I do not like influencer videos and suspect I would not like them personally. The 4 hour long runtime clearly indicated I would not be watching it.

The cascade of bad decisions by Disney was so enjoyable to hear about and her experience with ‘Disney magic’ was so very relateble. I too have been placed behind inexplicably large columns, felt the arbitrariness of the ‘experiencing the magic’, and spent far too much money for the privilege of standing in sweaty lines in the Florida heat.

I feel bad for the people involved that really wanted to make something great but were crushed under the weight of corporate ineptitude.
