I have a tremendous amount of pride for the America I was taught about in school. One that was aware of its past mistakes and was continually trying to better itself. One where people from all backgrounds intermingled and thrived with one another. One where the people decided their leaders and one that had checks and balances in place to prevent corruption.

Then I grew up. Now I resent the country that actually exists and the school system that misrepresented reality.

He didn’t work for Disney until 1984. So I’m a bit skeptical he even ever said that. Though it’s obviously absolutely possible.

The switch 2 itself was delayed til next year. The all but verified leaks and rumors originally had the switch 2 releasing this year before it was delayed. This was evidently confirmed by several different sources. Though rumors are just rumors.

Given the lack of noticeable aliasing in this trailer I wouldn’t be surprised if this footage is being run off Switch 2 hardware. Things to my eye look significantly sharper than what we’ve been getting from the switch.

And music streaming is only as good as it is because artists are getting completely shafted at every turn by both the streaming services and the record labels.

According to Uconn there is no significant overlap between the two broods. So while there will be cicadas in a wider area than normal it’s not like there’s going to be a bigger density of cicadas. This will likely be no different than any other brood year for most people. And if it’s anything like the brood we had in MD not that long ago it’s going to be a lot less dense than people are expecting.

Pelosi’s mouth is moving basically the whole video yet you can hear absolutely nothing from her except the very end when she gets into the suv. You can very faintly hear the “go back to China” line. However if you look at her mouth it’s not matching up with it at all. Someone clearly dubbed audio over video to make it sound like something it wasn’t.

Pretty sure the whole punching down thing comes from a story he told in one of these netflix specials where a trans woman in a bar told him she likes his comedy but that he needs to stop punching down against her people. He got all indignant about it and tried explaining that it’s not punching down because he’s black. His logic being that black people are so far down the totem pole it’s impossible for any one of them to “punch down” against a different marginalized group.

Him using the phrase now comes across more to me as him reveling in the position that he’s, in his mind, been mischaracterized into by the trans community. And less so him actually believing he’s better than anyone.

Still not at all a good look. And he’s definitely an asshole. The fact that he’s still fixated on this one perceived slight that happened to him several years ago should tell you all you need to know about him. My dude has produced multiple Netflix comedy specials focused on getting back at a community he feels wronged by because a woman said something to him once in a bar that he didn’t like.
