I think it absolutely is. I played it a bit at launch and didn’t find it near as bad as others but still set it aside. Started it fresh again with the expansion, and I had such a blast with it. You own it, so I see no reason not to a least give it a try.

When this was posted before someone who followed it fairly closely and others like it, updated the thread with info because the article was behind current info. They had already stopped the trials for MS because it wasn’t working. So they began to just focus on one other, the Crohn’s, I believe. Figuring if they got one to work, they could go back to the others and get them on the right track.

I have MS, and while this is a new approach, there have been so many articles about treatments that end up going nowhere after the first excitement. So it is still very early to get hopes up.

Key word potential. I’ve seen so many of these over the years. The frustrating ones can be like these when even the earliest clinical trials haven’t been started.

Sounds cynical, I know, but I’ve lived with the disease for a long time. Something like this will get circulated in support groups without them understanding just how early this is for a potential treatment.

Which is so odd to me. I get that some are trying to play the innocent until proven guilty thing. But the thing is, we know for a fact he has essentially lied about his resume and won an election based on it. Every place I worked, you could be fired if they found out you lied on an application or resume. Why should it be any different with this? So even without a conviction on the legal side of things, they all should have wanted him out based on fabricating his whole life.

I used to get Domino’s delivered to me years back. Often in the winter with snow on the ground and it is near zero. I always put my porch light on and waited near the door. The app showed me they were close, so why wouldn’t I? I can’t believe how many drivers thanked me for just doing these things. Many told me they’d often wait 5 minutes after knocking or ringing the doorbell. Like WTF? You know your order is coming.

I don’t think being mentally ill makes Kanye antisemitic. Just makes it so he doesn’t hide it like others may do.

I think as men get older, we also tend to have less close friends than women. Or at least it sure seems to be that way for many. Saw it with my dad before we lost him last year. I see it with my brother and myself. It has brought me and my brother somewhat closer in that we text and talk more than we used to despite not living close and being pretty different personalizes.

I have a few close friends, but not male ones. I had to stop working at a young age and I feel that is when I stopped having a connection to any sort of male bonding.

But I agree, that it still seems unacceptable to open up, share feelings, and be vulnerable as a man. Probably why I have mostly had women as close friends most of my adult life.

I agree with you and coming from a different perspective. I’ve tried the games and they just don’t do it for me for whatever reason. I don’t see this flopping at all. I also think recent launches will make sure they have things ready to go. It will sell like crazy and the fans that love the games will love it I’m sure.

That is what my thought was right after the first attack. No one in Palestine could benefit from such an attack. Just Hamas leadership and most likely Iran benefits by sparking more problems in the region and getting Saudi Arabia to back track on having more ties with Israel.

You hear about and see this a lot. You can even see it on people’s faces sometimes when you talk to them. They are already thinking about what they want to say rather than actually listening to what is said. So they are listening to respond rather than listening to truly engage in the conversation. I think many of us can be guilty of it at times. So I try to catch myself when I’m doing it. Remind myself how it feels to be on the other end of it when someone else does it.

Had the same issues when I still had hair to manage. Head & Shoulders was the only one for me as well. Until I just started buzzing my hair.

Now I need a good beard wash or my beard deals with the same thing.

I think we even see it regionally as well, not just country to country. Oh that happened 8 hours from me even if it was in my own state, vs oh that happened 10 minutes from where I live. People tend to take more notice when it hits closer to home.

I get where you are coming from, but I think this in part is done so people don’t just ignore it all. Not on our land, what do we care sort of thinking. Not saying I like that this would be needed to bring it closer to home for others, but that I can see that it would for some. We saw it with 9/11 as well as I would see other countries talk about how many they lost that day. Or when a plane goes down.
