I wish for something like STAR as well, but much like voting now it’s all about the lesser of two evils between current voting and anything besides the current voting method haha

For anyone living in Utah, a bill to enable Ranked Choice voting will be in November 2023.
So anyone there please register to vote sooner rather than later.
Currently people are being told it’s too confusing and too liberal, so they really could be more young people votes to help the cause.
And then they buy more red spray paint on Amazon because Walmart was out .
Side note, didn’t the movie company make bank from people buying those V for Vendetta masks to protest against corporations or something? Vague memory of it
Yeah Bernie losing the primary felt odd I thought more people preferred him over the rest
Now 3 of them instead of 2!
Just kidding but it is nice to see voting percentage in the US go up
Its a shame more people, especially younger people in the US, aren’t more into things like primaries and other voting besides presidential elections. Makes me wonder who would break through future elections and who they would appoint as a result.
So the interesting thing with Fox News is users migrated to Newsmax when Fox leaned towards that the election wasn’t rigged.
Now Newsmax is subtly putting that there is no evidence of fraud, and the users in Newsmax are getting angry 😂
For more context in this article as well, the judge Lee Marsh was appointed by Rick Scott, a Republican
That’s why I kind of prefer news about convictions and sentences rather than the crimes committed. In 9 years when and if they are finally convicted I will at least know if justice was served and what the final context was.
The cop was in the front corner of the car, so I imagine it will be dismissed for self defense easily in these kinds of scenarios since the cop had a risk of being run over? Haven’t seen how other cases involving potential hits turn out in the US
According to the links, the law was sponsored by Donna Howard (Dem) and Angie Button (Rep). Said 13 yays and 4 abstained from the financial committee.
Hopefully women constituents from both sides encouraged their reps to push forward.
I don’t see this being any problem as long as young people vote.
Wait.
You can visit Giant’s Deep in Outer Wilds and that’s sort of a gas planet. But I won’t say any more than that, because, you know
If you have a throwaway email to see comments on the Newsmax site, it is Catholics and whatnot saying the Pope isn’t the real part of the religion anymore.
That fine, but I just want to see how a politician turns a history of suffering into jokes at a rally. Oddly enough I think Trump could do it and his congregation would eat it up.
On a side note politicians love these comments as they joke about it too at rallies and increases support.
Makes me wonder what politicians can into jokes of culture popularized the people who died as a result of their actions.
That was my thought, but I imagine throughout history there are more people willing to sign up to defend than there are people willing to sign up to attack.
And assuming a typical Russian soldier might be hesitant to give 200% unless they are really brainwashed.
Typically it seems a console wants to be hyped first before the competition. I recall the next PlayStation got revealed in a court case discovery that it plans to announce 2025, so if I were Nintendo maybe June 2024 for a November 2024 release.
Would something like this deter future rallies? Its a shame how effective fear tactics can work.
I imagine a far right conservative would be terrified of barbie and for a good reason. Like what if their child ends up liking it? And they start learning on their own? And if they don’t vote Republican when they grow up? (I.e. me after watching movies and watching shows that strayed me away from my mom’s heavy conservative views)
Assuming tv and movies are a still hundred times more powerful than any political ad on forming younger opinions about stuff.
Neat! I am all for that? What are the left or rights views on STAR currently?
