Vintage meme indeed.
This dude always looked like a college aged Gregory House to me.

Ah sorry, thanks for the correction.
Ironically I think they are referred to as the silent generation. I’m genx my parents are boomers and older brother is silent generation. I think.
How about if we try it like this: Israel is a satellite wing of the US army.
This sounds an awful lot like a the old ‘both sides’ boogaloo.
Fuck that.
America under the democrats is a vile bully that pokes its nose in where it doesn’t belong and causes a great deal of suffering across the planet.
I grant you that, but America under MAGA unleashes the true evil in the hearts of men. The malady caused by four years under Trump lingers on in so many aspects of life.
Comparing the two is a massive mistake.
I’m fucking convinced you guys are going to vote that chud in again. Or let him be voted in again. There is nuance but it’s the same outcome.
I won a competition to drive a Ferrari F458 on a track. It was dope but it took me several tries to even pull away cleanly (this is after an hour long lesson about the track and 30min hands on with the car).
One of the Ferrari guys took it and warmed it up for me after which it behaved much better but it’s a long story to say that I can see an inexperienced driver screwing up badly in a super car especially when cold.
Some prophetic words from the finance there.
In normal corporate environments I’ve seen people abuse everything from codeine headache tablets to crystal meth.
Not defending Edolf Twitler, I’m just saying it’s not unusual for these environments to be so toxic that people look for ways to manage.
It’s so interesting. I imagine your experience is something like Venoms relationship with Eddie Brock which cracks me up!
Yes. Like many here it is my vocation.
I’ll chuck in my answer since I’ve been asked this before too.
I don’t “see” a stapler. I perceive a future state where the pages are stapled. This does appear visually in my mind but not a a a picture of stapled pages rather a set of symbols that incorporate the task “to staple” into the other things that I am concerned with at the point of thinking about that task.
“Set of symbols?” Is probably your follow up question - yes, geometry or iconography that describe the path from here to that future state where that pages are stapled.
That’s the best I can do. None of this is literally narrated in my mind, however typing this out to you each sentence is “auditioned” as I imagine I am speaking it to you.
The halcyon days lasted about month. After that each post sounded more and more like that 14 year old atheist reading the bible meme.
It’s mostly people running a mental ledger then comparing the value of presents to how much they do in the relationship as a journal for the shortfall in gift value.
Often siblings resenting one another for perceived (or even sometimes objectively clear) favouritism.
I’m pretty gullible and I believe a lot of stuff. So I’m asking this sincerely.
Are you saying that in America people are tapping their widow with a Glock and giving you the stink eye to get into your lane? Like, instead of indicating and then waiting for a safe gap?
Go into any of the relationship subreddits today and for the next few days and you will see countless Americans melting down into various degrees of rage and bitterness over Xmas presents.
It’s like this very goddamn year.
Can anyone explain this part of the culture to me?
I’m not saying I hate all Americans or anything ridiculous like that, the cast majority of Americans I’ve met are good hearted people but when it comes to Xmas and in what I’m given understand is the modern vernacular: “y’all cray.”
Don’t any of your families still watch the Charlie Brown Christmas? Because you really should.
Right, so I had the right idea then. It looks dope. I’m sure it’s a pleasure to ride!
Thanks, makes sense.
I know nothing about bikes so sorry for the odd question but how did you get it to look so… chunky? Are lots of those custom/aftermarket parts?
The original was a time and a place thing imo. It was a vibe that had a lot to do with the music, a lot to do with the awful circumstances surrounding Brandon’s death. You know at the time there were conspiracies a surrounding those circumstances tying into the death of Bruce Lee too so the movie had this lore to it from the start. The other thing worth mentioning is that at the time goth/industrial (dare I say it…) emo were an actual thing. I personally saw the first film in 16 up docs, my girlfriends skinny jeans and yes a touch of the old eyeliner. What I’m saying is it was relevant to a subset of the youth market. Not sure that’s true today.
