I have a small setup for some self hosted apps and media.
- Beelink Mini S.
- 2 external 5TB drives.
- A USB fan used as an exhaust because the SSD inside gets a bit warm.
I think total power is about 30W.

3·7 months agoMy family makes almond milk with our blender. It’s actually quite easy and not as expensive as buying the carton or gallon. It’s really just almonds and water (and salt or vanilla if you’re into other flavors).

101·1 year agoI don’t think it’s unskilled labor at all. If anything, your so-called skilled labor is underpaying you then. We shouldn’t hold others down.
This is what I ended up doing last year and it’s been great.
I host my own HumHub for just my extended family. It’s basically Facebook but there’s only about 25 people and no external nonsense like ads or news.
141·1 year agoI was searching for hot mails on my area and I found it.
I still wear a mask when going out to stores because I’m immunocompromised due to a kidney transplant. It’s ultimately up to me to protect myself from others but what bothers me most lately are people who either laugh or think I’m stupid for still wearing a mask. Some even go as far as to call me out and shame me for it. Can people just mind their own business? I’m not trying to get them to wear a mask so why are they so fixated on me taking mine off?

This reminds me of this ice cream I used to buy as a kid called the Snow Storm. I’ve eaten it over the years and one day the packaging slightly changed with a new emblem that stated now made with real ice cream. That’s when I started questioning all ice creams. Nowadays I’m more aware of ice cream as opposed to a frozen dessert or treat which a lot of “ice creams” now have on their packaging here at least in the US.
