  • I have a similar setup except I use pfSense as my router and pihole for DNS, but I’m sure you can get the same results with your setup. I’m running HAProxy for my reverse proxy and configs for each of my docker containers so any traffic on 443 or 80 gets sent to the container IP on whatever unique port it uses. I then have DNS entries for each URL I want to access the container by, with all of those entries just pointing to HAProxy. Works like a charm.

I have HAProxy running on the pihole itself but there’s no reason you couldn’t just run that in it’s own container. pfSense also let’s you install an HAProxy package to handle it on the router itself. I don’t know if opensense supports packages like that though.

You can even get fancy and do SSL offloading to access everything over HTTPS.

  • Really informative video. I honestly never thought about Mr. Popo that hard. I think at some point I might have had a passing thought his design was kinda messed up but he didn’t come up in DBZ enough for that realization to really take root. I like how in the video he addresses some of the false inspirations people like to bestow on the character. And it’s kind of wild they changed him to blue in some versions. I think the ultimate point he was trying to make is a good one: we should just acknowledge it and move on instead making up reasons that Mr. Popo isn’t what he is. Awareness and honesty while still being a fan of the show.

  • I don’t think anyone here is saying the movie will be bad for not getting the Borderlands story right. I think they’re saying it looks bad because it looks like a passionless by the numbers cash grab banking on nerd pandering and brand recognition. Especially because this was the type of game that never needed to be made into a movie. I mean, the trailer has Kevin Hart yelling stuff and ends with a diarrhea joke. Nuff said.
