I’m a bit torn. While I think the overall first movie is better, as an adult… I very much connected to the inside story of the second one much more, as did most people I know that watched it.

Maybe you don’t remember watching it again.
Which is very unfortunate. It’s not too disimilar from CEOs that jump from company to company with the intent of tanking the place, getting their paycheck and then rinse and repeating.
I don’t know how people running these projects aren’t ever fired. It’s an endless dance of lemons.
Surprised there is no pre-order exclusives. And I guess amiibos are done for good then?
Edit:
This has always been my experience as well. My first job was “just a job”. But I worked there for 6 yrs and made many friendships during that time. There were many “time to clock out people”, but at least half regularly hung out.
From the comments I gather that this mostly depends on the kind of work. I’d assume anywhere that is a “career” type place vs “just a job” will have different kinds of attitudes. At a “just a job” you want to just gfto when you clock out. I’ve mostly had jobs in relation to education or creative, and most of the people there just want to connect.
I’ve always had friends and good times with coworkers, many of whom I’m still in contact with to this day, hell, I’ve helped some of them move.
Do the same browser plugins work on librewolf?
I smiled when I saw the shop sign in the theater. It’s there’s for a few shots too.
For me it’s: Guardians 1 & 2, Iron Man, Homecoming, Winter Soldier, Avengers and the last portion of Endgame
I’ve yet to rewatch Ragnarok, but I probably should.
Did it for almost a decade. Best team I’ve worked with, but eventually enough dominos began to fall, and me staying there only really helped enforce the bad behavior of higher ups. Many followed after me.
These articles always seem weird to me. Back when Black Panther came out, articles poured out with people surprised that black people wanted to see movies. As a Latino, Latinos seeing movies with large families isn’t new, it’s been decades. Everyone sees movies, just make good movies.
The article also mentioned Latinos being underrepresented on the big screen, I wonder if next year we’ll see a surge of latino oriented movies from studios trying to cash in.
Without trying to spoil much. There is definitely some overlap in reusing some of the structure of the first movie and disney playing it safe, but the themes it hits on, hit really hard, I would imagine even more so for some adults.
I agree. I am hoping it’s unique enough to stand out against ori and even hollow knight. Will definitely keep my eyes on this
Well, I did not know this thing existed at all.
I am very torn. While I appreciate the love that went into this project (and you can see it). It doesn’t really offer much to the larger story and probably didn’t beed to be 40min. If it were part of a tv series, I think it would likely slot in well, with some additional parallel Shire content going on.
What is the general premise? I have a hard time believing a whole movie can be filled.
Honestly if they are even going to bother they need to push it even more into the crazy. They already split the one into a binary duo. For the next movie it should be a triad with the next character called something related to “Two”. That way we’d have Neo, the One, new character and then Trinity. They could say it was the plan the whole time. Given how much the Wachowskis like playing around with gender, identity and relationships, I wouldn’t even be surprised if it happened.
Yeah, looks really cool. Looks like ori meets okami meets Hollow Knight.
I’m sure they do. It probably depends on the director’s vision. There are lists of the opposite people make, “movies you’ll only ever watch once”
It’s honestly my favorite of the bunch. The Pitch Black /Riddick monster plot style dying one by one has never appealed to me in any genere. I loved the mystic sci-fi space world building that was going in Chronicles. Does it do it better than a movie like Dune? No, but this also came out a very long time ago.
