If your love letter isn’t given in the form of highly obfuscated C, is it really a love letter? I don’t know, but what I do know is that I love you! <3

Turbine should connect to loudspeaker to make this a closer system lol
Rip to one of earth’s GOATs.
SpaceX actually did use some kind of TS/JS chrome browser thing for their docking controls lol…
Guess what? Flight Software usually uses ancient proprietary compilers for specialized hardware running an RTOS, rip 😢
Just don’t let studios take the tax write off and this is all fixed
Thank you. Everyone is very calm lol
It’s not horrible and yes a little pedantic. Also OP just copied the title from the blog so no fault there. Maybe something like “Python 3.13 will ship with experimental JIT flag” would have been more precise but it’s no big deal. I was more dropping a comment to summarize for others who hadn’t read the article rather than to be overly critical of title
Not that I support it but does anyone know why Putin doesn’t just have this guy killed? Putin has lots of people killed and I feel like I’ve been hearing about this guys imprisonment for years. It’s surprising he’s kept alive in prison indefinitely rather than added to the pile. Is the fear it would trigger a bigger movement / martyr him?
This is awesome. The title is misleading though, it’s being checked into the code base and can be enabled with a flag. No guarantees it’s included in the base interpreter anytime soon
It might also be environmentally precarious but I’m interested in seeing some of the ocean current and heat differential and other non river hydro solutions being proposed.
Good point! Festivus has been with civilization a long time :D
Sorry not sure I get the relevance.
KHAAANNNN!!!
I made a new comment for your edit cause I didn’t mean to ratio, just trying for discussion. It’s not a big deal to dislike it; I guess I just think of it as winter holiday season and not Christmas season. And I’m guessing it’s not a bunch of triggered Christians downvoting it’s just people responding to what comes across as a little grumpy (which again for the record is an opinion you’re entitled to).
I think overtly religious displays and sanctimony are pretty annoying. I just don’t see the rest of the season as affected by that. Maybe they’re Chanukah lights. But to steel man you a little: if anything I’m more triggered by the consumerism and capitalist co-opting of time to reflect and be with family than any religion being overbearing, which goes along with what you’re saying regarding the overboardness people do with the decorations and extraness of their lawn displays and the presents and holiday sales etc.
I mean, Christmas is borderline secular at this point. I’m an atheist but I’m not that triggered by it.
“Every week Israel must kill no more than 80% of the children it killed the week before”
Vector embeddings with ChromaDB. Basically you pre compute the word embeddings of every row / table / whatever granularity you want and then stick that into a vector DB. Then you do an embedding computation of your query and compare similarity. You can either return the table / row / whatever you want that’s most similar (“semantic search”) or you use that as context for an LLM (“RAG”)
The world standing by and watching a genocide unfold is unconscionable. Children cannot be militants nor terrorists. Unless the kid is literally pointing a gun at your face there is never a justifiable claim of self defense
You can write anything in anything. The downsides have to be outweighed by the positives and OP is suggesting there isn’t enough positive.
AI is cool. AI research is valuable. AI has the power to be a transformative technology.
Corporate AI hype for tech fueled neofeudalism is not cool. Commodification of AI is not valuable. LLMs will never substantively change the world.
