    If there’s a silver lining to all of this, it’s that we certainly aren’t going back to the status quo once this shitstorm blows over.

    The giant asterisk on that is Improvement Not Guaranteed™. And I don’t see how this happens peacefully.

      We are at 1930’s Germany. The shitstorm will probably continue for another 15 years and only get worse.
