I have seen all of the Toxie movies, and I’m guessing 90% of the Troma catalog. Based on this trailer alone, I love the Toxie reboot. And now Troma MUST reboot “Class of Nuke 'em High” and “Surf Nazis Must Die!”. I’m excited for the new Toxie! I want more new Troma!
The Troma Cinematic Universe. Bring back James Gunn for the Tromeo and Juliet reboot.
A Surf Nazis Must Die reboot is going to trigger MAGA. Which will be them telling on themselves.
Isn’t triggering nazis/MAGA/GqP a subtext of “Surf Nazis Must Die”? 🙂

I’m not feeling it. I could write up a lot more, but I’ll summarize that the original is a piece of art from adversity created by and starring a bunch of mostly unknowns on a pretty shoestring budget. This is not that.
You know to be honest I don’t think I’ve seen the original. But it’s on Prime Video and think I will now. What about the sequel any good?
They are all fun. I celebrate his whole catalog.
I think I watched the sequel at some movie night ages age but honestly don’t remember. I remember the original and like it for what it is. You’ve got to be on the right wavelength going into a Troma movie. It’s gross, crude, offensive, and pretty stupid. It has this unhinged manic energy that carries it though. It is like the movie version of outsider art.
