While not every one of them will win the first time, it will do at least these three things: Bring campaigning focus back to connecting with people on the ground and asking about real issues that concern people. At least one will win somewhere unexpectedly, where the incumbent(s) had put down their guard. Brings progressivism and socialism back into the political conversation.
