but if you think standing on the side of palestine will resolve the issue and create peace in the area, you are naive. Long term robust peace talks, and both sides choosing leaders willing to forge a lasting peace with concessions is the only way forwards.

And for anything like that to happen, Israel needs to abandon its colonialist ambitions, because there can be no peace as long as settlements are being built. Once that happens, the peace talks you’re talking about can happen. This is not conjecture; we’ve seen this in action before multiple times.
