I believe that genocide is wrong and runs counter to every single progressive policy and principle, and for that reason it’s literally impossible for any candidate that supports genocide to represent me or my interests. I don’t care what they say they will do or what they claim to believe, a candidate’s genocide support trumps any other consideration. Even when it comes to things those candidates might do that may benefit me or if the alternative threatens my privledged position and safety. I can’t be bribed with policy or threatened into compromising on genocide.
If neither candidate can bring themselves to stop being genocidal, then I will vote to inflict a political price on the side that’s least far-right. I’m voting Uncommitted for presidential if Biden doesn’t step down. If he does step down that’s enough of a referendum on his Israel policy that I’m willing to vote for his replacement in this context, but Biden needs to go. He’s not only a deeply immoral person, he’s now literally unelectable.
Democrats need to show actual signs of being able to listen. Not rhetoric or empty promises, but actual meaningful action. If they are unable to listen and submit to their constituency then they have no useful potential.

The detail in Kenshi is pretty amazing. I don’t normally get sucked into single player games, but the design really does give the impression of nearly unlimited freedom, every different starting scenario feels genuinely unique. The slave start particularly was a ton of fun.
It’s pretty amazing that it was designed by basically one guy. He was really efficient in how he chose what game elements to invest his limited development time into and clearly had a really strong vision. I hope he can get a few more devs onboard to develop a second one, I feel like even two or three other people would make so much more possible.
