You can link your steam to your Playstation account maybe that’s what you were thinking.
To things that helps no mater your skill level the tab key is your best friend and man pages are great but if those are overwhelming install the package tldr then you can use the command tldr and the command you are trying to run to give you helpful examples of how to use that command.
Also old users don’t remember long commands if we use a command more than once. You save it to your bash alias file to create your own commands.
Don’t switch your OS first switch your apps to cross platform apps first that work on both Linux and Windows for all your major tasks. Then after you feel good about it then switch to Linux and switch everything no dual boot for at least 6 months or you will switch at the slightest roadblock vs just troubleshooting like you would do if you ran into a roadblock on windows.
I mean if you enjoy it i would never shit on your parade i just go to plays and musicals on the regular and I have noticed originals shows not based on an IP shrink smaller and smaller on the season. I think last year it was all but 3 out of 10 Hadestown , shucked, and come from away and 2 of those 3 are repeats from years prior.
Because princess bride is perfectly fine as a film and that effort and money could be put into creating new stories instead of recycling known IP.
Agreed the only one that I disagree with is star wars since we can’t see the original. I have the belief that it’s isn’t just yours when you put art out there. You may own the copyright but you can’t tell me the version i enjoyed is wrong. But other than that I agree. New trek can never take away old trek. But a HD remaster of DS9 would be appreciated.
Yeah i remember a interview with Terry Matalas about star trek picard season 3. Where when he talked about writing the season he was all about not going on about the story beats but however to weave the story from one legacy thing to the next.
Yeah too busy on building lore to tell a good story. It’s like all writers these days are from the fanfic community.
The wizard of oz did have s sequel gave tons of children nightmares. Yeah if they were all good then no one would noticed. Also I think with the wizard of oz as an example it being a remake is okay becase it’s trying to be it’s own thing not sending half the movie trying to get me to point at the screen or making the movie just for the YouTubers making top 10 Easter Eggs that were big enough to roll over indy and you totally didn’t miss.
Yeah i love that idea and hell of they want to show that new movie to the next generation just reshow it in theaters like the Drafthouse does. No need to make a special edition or whatever just shows it as is with current theater tech.
It’s interesting you bring that up i think the star trek instance are one of the fewer instances that get federation right. They carved out their niche and stuck to it. I kind of wished we would have gotten more of them like that.
Like the comics instance or the retro tech instance. Like you would go to the retro tech instance to the C64 community. So it would be logical how everything is broken out. Like old school forms for different subjects but they can also blend by talking to one another.
So many just want to be generic catch all’s and it could be so much more.
This year is the year of the Linux desktop because every year is the year of the Linux desktop. It just gets better and better all the time. It’s only companies that need fast exponential growth we can play the long game.
I could not agree more like the early web before it became popular enough for corporations to take notice and start exploiting it. Cherish being under the radar and enjoy the community that’s already here. More will come when they are ready just be ready to welcome them when they do.
How about we don’t and just let original good ideas float to the top and stop all the pop culture fracking.
Also parents can still be role models even if they are shit parents. You just flip the script from be like these people to a list of what not to do.
The fact you are asking this question shows great self awareness and that’s half the battle right there.
Timeshift is number 1
Also it’s recommended to not reinstall a bunch of stuff and just install the app when you needed it that’s the power of Linux. Unless you just want to learn the software then disregard
The architecture uses two distinct bus subsystems: the chipset bus and the CPU bus. The chipset bus allows the coprocessors and CPU to address “Chip RAM”. The CPU bus provides addressing to conventional RAM. So it’s way different than any other machine at the time. So doing this before you got your hands on the machine to debug and test on is very impressive.
Debian since 1998 checking in
I use it because it’s just always been there it’s the foundation for so many other distros and can be customized the way I want it to be. All the packages are for the most part vanilla other than fixing them to follow the Debian rules. The Debian rules are great since once you learn them. You knows where to find anything on a Debian system.
As long as you are not doom scrolling the device itself is not the problem. We went from 10 devices doing different functions to 1 that replaced them all. So using that device to play games, to read books, watch tv, listen to music, take a photo. The problem is from the outside all those look like you are looking at a black rectangle.
