  • Gotta agree that the first Mario party for switch was terrible. Hated the concept of star points, or whatever they’re called.

The last one felt just ok- like a return to form but not a stand out. 7/10 maybe. I’ve only done one party of Jamboree and its definitely my favourite of the switch by far. Might be on par with MP 6 for me for replayability. Lots of anti frustration features brought in, gameplay feels quick, minigames I’ve played so far were fun. I don’t regret the purchase but also have bought every single Mario Party since the first one, even when disappointing, so maybe wait for someone else’s opinion.

  • I’m not sure if you’re able to pursue citizenship, if it’s something you’re after, but in terms of the “unique” accent- you don’t owe anybody an answer if they ask “where are you from?”

You can tell them you’re English. You can tell them you grew up in England, truthfully. You can tell them English is the only language you speak. You don’t owe anyone your backstory. If you’re feeling petty or vindictive you can lie and say you have a speech impediment. I know their intentions are likely good but by inquiring about your accent, they are othering you. It’s up to you how you’d like to respond.

  • Medical professionals, particularly doctors who have sworn an oath against causing harm, refuse to take part in the executions. This is partly why lethal injections are so hit and miss. Even if you can get the drugs, the dosages are tricky. IV placement is a skill. All of it being done by untrained individuals leads to a high rate of failure- and that was before the pharmaceutical companies started refusing to supply prisons.

I would imagine that if benzos became part of the nitrogen hypoxia protocols prisons would then have a hard time sourcing them, which is terrible for those other inmates who might need them for other reasons (anxiety, alcohol withdrawal, seizures)
