I’m actually quite happy with mine I don’t think it’s shown me a single ad, the only nuisance is it doesn’t stay connected to my WiFi and only joins when I launch an app or something.

Its a Toshiba with Vidaa Os I think, not saying it’s perfect it has all the UK channel apps but not Stremio which I would like it to have.

That said it hasn’t done a single thing ad wise to annoy me unlike my firetv cube.

I’m done with streaming it only really worked when there was one, now they’ve saturated it to the degree it’s pointless. Not only that but they keep raising prices for a worse service and now they have all went ad crazy on top of it.

I see no benifit to subscribing to any of them I’d rather watch free to air stuff if I have to see ads, and for anything else I’ll hoist the black flag since I’d likely need about 10 subscriptions otherwise.

Yeah just now watched it fully it’s interesting there’s no mention of any of the old Sony fancy features on the new ones either, think my old one had all the dolby stuff and could do things cassettes usually couldn’t like skip and rewind tracks etc.

I’ve an old Sony Walkman in a drawer that’s is barely larger than the cassettes itself, my guess today there probably isn’t money in them anymore so it’s probably only a handful of company’s making them and doing it as cheap as possible.

I’d say there’s a better chance of George dying In the next 5 years than him finishing even the next book.

I’ve got some serious qualifications in electronics, it sucks I love in a tiny apartment and don’t have the equipment I need to fix things. Had my main monitor die a few days ago and I’m sure it’s just a capacitor or something dumb, I’ve been out of work now about a year and everything I rely on seems to be dying lately.

Really wish I had the space and money to have a decent solder station, multimeter etc.

Also I’m not asking for any handouts or anything like that just cursing my own stupidity for never embracing a hobby that would definetly have benifited me.

Yeah it sucked at the time, took me quite a while to work out what actually happened.

I was raided they accused me of wanting to shoot up my workplace, I worked out later someone made a joke when I was on my holiday and a new member took it seriously and phoned the mayor’s office.

I was questioned about my non existant Facebook account in almost every police interwiew I went through which all in all I’d say was close to a dozen.

Whole thing was a nightmare which ruined my entire life at the time, the fact the mayor was involved I think made the police absolutely crazy with trying to get me on anything at all. But yeah Facebook came up way way too often to the point I felt they wanted to arrest me for not having one and I was some type of criminal scum or some psychopath for not having one.

Ultimately they didn’t get me on anything but I kinda feel if I had a Facebook anything I ever posted on it would be twisted in some kind of way to get me.

Unfortunately I’m now on benifit having lost my job and they keep bring up damn Facebook and trying to make me make an account.

There’s something badly wrong here, don’t use Facebook imo I honestly think it’s some kind of trap at this point.

Yeah nope from me at that price I’d want something with good specs and colour eink.

Product makes no sense to me and from the review it’s overpriced, badly made and barely works.

Point of an eink device to me is either to solely read or save a lot of battery this does neither.
