Ngl didn’t even notice it was covered until I read your comment
I’m very confused about the significant drop in Apple users as well, but I’m not sure that it’s purely caused by a userbase increase. E.g. in mobile, for or this big of a change to occur you would need the userbase to increase by 38% and for none of those new users to be iPhone users. I don’t feel like that’s a realistic YoY increase in users at this late stage.
I am very suspicious of the -26% Apple marketshare. It makes me feel like there’s more to this than it seems at first. There’s no way 26% of Apple users stopped using Apple devices within a year.
Edit: maybe it could be caused by a large user base increase that shifted the demographics, but this fast? And the PornHub bans across US states started only this year for the most part if I’m not mistaken, so it shouldn’t affect this data?
I personally picked Mailfence, but I saw both runbox and mailfence are really good. Tho Mailfence is a bit more expensive
I love this new arc of pewds, unimaginably based. I’m actually interested in watching his videos now after a looong time. The last three tech related ones were great.
Gotta also recommended porkbun for a registrar, had a great experience with then.
I mean I’m no expert either but you can see this characteristic burning on most ICBM videos, it’s just the reentry vehicle reaching insane temperatures.
I think the difference in speed in the video is just perspective + distance, plust Iran has many different types of balistic missiles. I mean, technically speaking many balistic missiles do go at hypersonic speeds, but that’s not what people mean when they say hypersonic missile, they refer to missiles that fly very low at hypersonic speed and can maneuver before hitting their target. You can clearly see the balistic trajectory of these missiles.
I doubt Iran has any real hypersonic missiles, these are probably just balistic missiles.
I mean, that just looks like it was blown out to me.
Why is the video so dark? I thought my phone’s brightness settings were off.
My guess is that it’s probably because holding off keeps it in the media longer. If it’s scarce you’ll get 50 different articles talking about how shelves are empty of X console, and a much bigger problem is if you accidentally overbuild, and you realise the demand isn’t actually there. Though on the other hand, standard marketing would imply that you want as little friction as possible between the customer and buying your product, so I’m not sure.
That’s, like, literally the whole point of these kinds of communities, to share your thoughts and experiences.
Ok that’s really cool. It looks like it’s really new? Like 3 months old?
If you’re working on a large project/product then sure, but VS Code is just so damn good, it’s so much fucking faster than IntelliJ, has so many more options and is typically just more intuitive to me. Whenever I can I typically use it.
Possible, but I wouldn’t really see this as evidence of that in particular. Israel has been conducting subversive actions against Hamas and the Houthis for a long time and something like that pager attack was likely being planned far ahead.
Ok yeah the second part makes sense, but for the first part I was calculating it based on hand washing, dishwashers would be way less since you have to split the usage per person in the household, which holds for hand washing as well. Idk for other people but when I’m alone I use the dishwasher probably every 3-4th day and for handwashing I’d say 20L is realistic, double it maybe but still isn’t that much.
Yeah but it says “at home” and gives recommendations how you personally can reduce water consumption (like more efficient taps or showerheads), which makes me believe that it’s not your entire direct and indirect water consumption (which realistically isn’t even relevant for the argument since the water used for crops isn’t gonna be getting treated anyway)
That’s a bit of a flawed approach, at least if we’re talking about the average user. The average user doesn’t want nor shouldn’t need to have a deep understanding of the OS. If you’re a dev or interested in it, sure, it’s good to know, but asking the average person to have to constantly tinker with their OS is like asking people to diagnose their own illnesses. Sure, it would be nice if you knew medicine and why you were sick and how to cure it, but it doesn’t make sense to expect everyone to do it. Most people don’t care, and have better things to do in their life.
