  • Neocolonialism, the control of less-developed countries by developed countries through indirect means. The term neocolonialism was first used after World War II to refer to the continuing dependence of former colonies on foreign countries, but its meaning soon broadened to apply, more generally, to places where the power of developed countries was used to produce a colonial-like exploitation

Neocolonialism is a wide concept, if you loan a country money you know they cant payback. Then they pay you in unequal treaties ie: Farm land, mining rights etc cheap. When another country controls your strategic interests they are not yours…

edit: Why ya’ll downvoting me I grabbed the definition from Google?!?

  • This was me today, I’m making a JRPG in GoDot. I made my pause menu today and I tried running it. It took me to my battle scene… I then kept trying different things with no luck. I then tried running the game… My battle scene popped up! I was so confused, googled it with no solution. Them I started trouble shooting, deleting things til it worked… After that I got autoloader errors, so I removed it from the autoloader… Somehow that fixed it… I dont know how but cool.

  • Yes, mobilization is a strong message to government in democracy. It says we do not like the direction, we are going and we will vote you out or cause more disruption. In my town we mobilized in front of our MP’s office due to the partial privatization of medcial aid. Our MP ended up changing his vote and siding against his party, as it was the will of the people. Participation in democracy is a powerful tool.
