Youtube is taking much longer to load for me now. Not the videos, but the homepage and ui in general
Does a set of all sets contain itself?
Wouldn’t it be easier if a bunch of people paid a dollar every second, and one of those people was randomly selected to get every dollar submitted?

Every skin is a texture or model swap, every “exclusive” always exists in the files, every in-game currency is fabricated.
Games try really really hard to make you pay for something that is copy and pasted
I’ve updated the post to reflect this.
The strategy is to get you onto a different platform to make instant messaging easier. They are just “advertising” on Lemmy.
Once you’re on a chat platform, they will likely attempt the “Romance Baiting” (formerly “Pig Butchering”) scam: make the target fall in love, then persuade them to send money for things like “travel expenses” or “family medical bills”. Also involves buying crypto.
It’s not a good idea to send them pictures of your face. They can use it for identity theft.
That…seems like a language i could learn, and could probably be taught in schools as a second language.
I feel like the only reason we use English as much as we do is tradition. Time to break tradition.
How to avoid getting scammed:
- DO NOT SEND MONEY
- DO NOT ACCEPT MONEY OR CHECKS
- DO NOT GIVE CREDIT CARD DETAILS
- DO NOT OPEN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT WHILE SOMEONE IS CONNECTED TO YOUR DEVICE
- CALL THE INSTITUTION THAT THE OTHER CLAIMS TO BE AND VERIFY THE INFORMATION THEY PROVIDED
- DO NOT PAY FOR SOMETHING YOU KNOW IS STOLEN OR ILLEGAL TO PURCHASE
- BE AWARE OF COMMON SCAM SCRIPTS AND TACTICS
- IF YOU FALL IN LOVE ONLINE, MEET THEM IN PERSON
- DO. NOT. SEND. THEM. MONEY.

I have bills and student loans to pay. I didn’t get a job in my field right out of college so I’ve been stuck bouncing around min wage to make ends meet. Have very little time to do any projects.
