NC have modules for both gPodder sync and RSS. The RSS reader has been refactoring for ages so I just run FreshRSS instead but the NC module should work just fine.
Doc D’s prescription: Two memes, one shitpost and don’t call me in the morning.

I don’t like changes, that’s why I like Debian Stable.

Damn, forgot about formatting. Well it looks dope on my screen, you’ll just have to imagine it.
But what if they aren’t happy to chat on their coffee breaks either?
What you’re suggesting is basically just hitting the snooze button. “I’m sorry but I’m just the type of person who don’t do small talk.” in a polite but firm manner have worked wonders for me before.
I’ve used both Mull and Iceraven on phone, Librewolf on desktop. I went back to stock FF and tweaked it on desktop because it was tuned differently than I wanted - Particularly when it came to dark mode support. On phone I always settled for Iceraven but it’s miles behind chromium forks when it comes to tab management (ironically, FF is miles ahead when it comes to tab management on desktop).
No, my solution is ditching the entire overbloated web standards we have today and go the small web route where idealists can make useable software without being a giant organisation, targeted both by commercial and state interests.
But that’s not going to happen any more than Mozilla will go back to being a decent org.
What do you mean by trusting? I trust Mozilla to increase the executives wages at the cost of everybody in the organisation. I trust that they’ll incorporate more and more features I find unwanted. Privacy-wise I haven’t trusted Mozilla since telemetry was opt-out. Security wise I haven’t trusted any browser for decades.
Each to their own, I hope you’re happy with your setup.
Ecosia, the “green” search engine with AI chat. Perfect match for Firefox, the browser ever more integrated with AI technology.
I’ve just given up on Mozilla, using Cromite after a decade of Firefox/Fennec on desktop and mobile had been such an upgrade.
What sort of performance are you looking for? I run NC’s from Raspberry Pi’s, no problem.
This is why I only listen to audio formats that add information to the music, not degrade it by taking away.
Syncthing is like a base layer for a personal P2P system, beyond the basic file sync I use Syncthing to sync Joplin Notes, Money Manager Ex, KeePass, RetroShare and what ever else I can.
This is stupid.
Do you have any experience with the dedicated Audiobookshelf app?
Cool, I didn’t know. Going to try it out.
Are you sure you’re posting in the right community?
I have several 4 and 8 TB disks filled up with various stuff just waiting to be cleaned up. Why do you think I’m preaching about storage space management?
My dual 10’s are starting to fill up because I don’t move stuff off-site as I should. And then reclaiming space through disk analyser and freeing up reserved space is a life saver.
Doesn’t people use a disk usage scanner every once in a while to find out if there’s something hogging space?
Last time I checked, Nextcloud Talk android app simply refuse to implement any sort of pull system. If one’s using a google-less phone one needs to set up a push system on top (I’ve never managed to get the NC push system to work properly). There’s even a separate “Nextcloud Notification checker” app on F-Droid to remedy the problem. It’s all a bit silly.
Same, it’s pretty nice.
Not really, AFAIK the closest external actors can access is the general area based on the central you’re connected to.
Have you tried an IP lookup like What’s my IP?
