Old post but…if it’s just memory, you’d lose ttauma and other ingrained coping mechanisms, no? There’s no brain to try and fight back against things. Just memories making you…you…? Or not you, if you oose some of your behaviors?

You know what, the more I read the more I believe that ya all live in some sort of dysfunctioning dystopia. First thought was “then why won’t they move somewhere cheaper” but I guess in USA it may be not possible, am I right?

I mean, in what hellish place both parents have to take more than one job just to survive? One of them wpuld be understandable. One struggling with many while other stays at home too. But both? WTF.

HOW the hell did USA happen into an idea of putting goddamn KIDS into debt?! I mean, I live in EU. In my country, there were school-run lunches…or rather dinners, anyway. These were paid upfront, once per month, at overall small price (still somewhat pricey, but actual alternative for families that didn’t want to pack sandwiches for their kids.)

But ALSO! Wtf USA? If lunch is such a problem, why not, dunno, make your child lunch for school at home?

And no, these scenes do fuck all in most movies to fleshing out character, quite often they actually make it more shallow by being either uncharacteristic or feeling shoed in, dammit.

And if anything, from what I see around people are hella more open about sex. Thanks to overabundance of porn and all, sex became normalized. At least a lot more than when I was a child.

Even if it’s true…what does that change? I mean, bobman said that some mercenaries have alliegance to their companies. Not countires, companies. So mercs from Wagner have alliegance to Wagner Group, not Russia.

Honestly fuck that? USA, it’s intentions mixed as they were, at least tried to help - and that’s a country that already had experience in influencing growth and change in other countries. I can’t really see other options for them.

Yeah, they are in a bad place but please let’s not forget that they actually worked to be in that place. So screw that, my heart goes to them but they’re lost case for now, until they are ready to fight for themselves.
