Crazy I just thought of this movie today. “Was that a goat?”
I didn’t actually really care for it. Sorry

For judges, I mostly look for key backers. For example, teachers union shows support? I’m in. Moms for Liberty or anything with “Patriot”? Instant vote against. Or I read the voters pamphlet for dog whistles. If neither pan out, then I actually have to do research, ugh.
I got scared that arrow was a hurricane path for a second
The reality is they are consistently informing local police that they are “conducting business in the area” and are plain clothes.
Makes sense. Maybe they wouldn’t be understaffed if they were utilized in places that actually mattered to people
…well shit. Too smart to be an officer is a thing.
Cities in pretty much the entire country are running with an understaffed police force. They’ll take what they can get. I’m 100% pro Union, but another problem is that police unions help protect unfit (literally and figuratively) police from being forced to try harder by abusing protected status health claims. I’ve seen in both police and military, they are handed paperwork if they are not meeting fitness expectations, but nothing ever comes of it.

It’s fair in a sense that his father may have left him inheritance
I don’t know if this is common, but worth looking into:
My library system offers limited free passes to local museums, zoos, childrens/science museums, etc. You borrow them like you would borrow a book.
I think you’re under valuing the importance of the “mah” part for these people.
They (Trump voters, and many Americans in general). are the most selfish people on the planet. They will gladly shit on anyone’s rights to make themselves feel successful at their own life goals. I would also like to emphasize feel successful, because they would chop off their foot to own the libs
Sorry for being suspicious.
That guy is like Joe Rogan. Acts like he’s just asking questions or observing, but is bias in most content and whose perspective is shared (tactfully sprinkling neutral pieces in between).
From how once beautiful cities are allowing drugs and homelessness to run rampant (this trump talking point was the video that first made him famous), to how border crossing is terrible and human trafficking is a bane on our society due to inaction, to how welfare is ruining rural America, and a video disparaging the use of masks during covid. New York Post and Daily Mail regularly do articles based on his content.
You’re not getting insight into other places or people like he implies. You’re getting what he thinks you should see. He’s another Joe Rogan.
Sorry if I’m missing sarcasm, but this has been a big deal for several years. Planning started under Obama!
Here’s my guess. The main mission structure and Time line were announced and detailed under Trump admin in like 2017. But since he dominates and generates near constant stupid headlines, it probably filtered away in a matter of hours. Same with each time a launch has occurred I suppose. Another aspect is that space x is heavily involved, so left leaning circles probably aren’t super excited as they would be?
Edit: I just saw who Peter whatever was. I think he is a disingenuous person and maybe this post is also? Or you’re in a bubble that you really need to get out of
Which was an anti union move on his part . Not providing people that worked on the film their due recognition since everyone could just walk out of the end credits.
Maybe an archaic concept today, even though it still exists, since movie credit details are readily available online with ease.
I feel like a good portion of the audience was still confused at the end. And you know exactly which portion
Out of curiosity, what do you do day-to-day instead of Lemmy?
I use voyager, too. I like it better than sync for being open source and more frequently updated
The best thing I was told when I was a newbie:
Try sorting “all” by Top: last 6 hours.
It works great for my frequency of use. I then use “hot” if I return within an hour or two. Some mornings, I’ll scroll Top 6 hours for the main stuff and switch to hot for more pressing news while I’m having my coffee.
