It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that the reason the 2FA setup button wasn’t working for me was because I wasn’t on my phone where the authenticator app resides. I should have realized that much sooner, but those who are only nerd adjacent or less (not full-on nerds themselves) would have no chance to figure it out. Perhaps the instructions could say to do it on the same system where the authenticator app resides.
Yeah, I found the 2FA setup really confusing. Thought I might have locked myself out of the account. You’re the only other person I’ve heard mention it though so it might not be a well used feature.
